Authorities are investigating a violent incident that occurred Sunday night in Neiva, where a man identified as Juan Sebastián Castañeda Narváez lost his life after receiving multiple gunshot wounds during an alleged theft attempt.
According to preliminary information, Castañeda Narváez was participating in the incident near the roundabout in the Santa Isabel neighborhood. His companion reacted with a firearm and shot him several times.
The wounds caused his death despite being taken to a medical center. National Police units arrived at the scene to cordon off the area.
