Swedish family evacuated twice from Spain vacation due to wildfires

A Swedish family with two young children had to flee their vacation rental twice within days amid wildfires near Marbella.

Isabelle Bellange and her family had planned a month-long vacation in Spain. They were first evacuated from Parque Botánico when a fire spread to residential areas. Police stopped her husband and he ran to fetch the family.

The family returned after a day but had to flee again when a new fire broke out near their new accommodation. They saw flames along a highway and heard explosions from a truck collision in which two people died.

The family received information mainly from their Airbnb host and is now considering cutting the trip short. They stay together at all times after the two incidents.
