The game, set for March 3, 2026, will feature iconic former players like Rafael Márquez and Iker Casillas. Sales begin with bank pre-sales in January 2026.

Estadio Akron in Zapopan, Jalisco, will host the return of the Spanish classic to Mexico via the Copa de Leyendas, an exhibition match between former Barcelona and Real Madrid players. This event ties into pre-2026 World Cup activities, as Akron is a confirmed venue set to host four matches, including Spain vs. Uruguay on June 26, 2026.

The match is scheduled for March 3, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Ticket prices, excluding service fees, vary by zone: 682 pesos in areas T2-08 to T2-19 and T2-32 to T2-43; 1,550 pesos in T2-01 to T2-07, T2-20 to T2-31, and T2-44 to T2-48; 2,496 pesos in zone T1; and 7,750 pesos in premium zones CC-01, CC-02, CC-06, and CC-07. A special rate of 1,054 pesos applies for people with disabilities.

Sales are exclusive through Ticketmaster, limited to eight tickets per person. HSBC Premier pre-sale starts January 12, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., followed by general HSBC on January 13 in the same window, and general sale on January 14 from 2:00 p.m. Children over three years old need a ticket. Food, drinks, pets, and prohibited items are not allowed; the stadium will sell food, drinks, and official merchandise.

Confirmed players include Iker Casillas, Fernando Hierro, and Fernando Morientes for Real Madrid; and Rafael Márquez, Carles Puyol, and Xavi Hernández for Barcelona. More names will be announced closer to the date.
