Tigres qualifies for the 2026 Concachampions final

Tigres UANL defeated Nashville SC 1-0 on Tuesday and secured its spot in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup final with a 2-0 aggregate score.

The team led by Guido Pizarro controlled the return leg at Estadio Universitario. Juan Francisco Brunetta scored the only goal in the 68th minute after a play started by Ángel Correa.

Fernando Gorriarán left injured in the first half and was replaced by Juan Pablo Vigón. Tigres maintained dominance in the second half without conceding clear chances to the visitors.

The Mexican side will play the final on May 31 against the winner of the series between Toluca and Los Angeles FC. With this victory, Tigres also earns a place in the Intercontinental Cup and the Club World Cup.
