Tinubu reaffirms commitment to Nigerians amid reforms

President Bola Tinubu has pledged not to betray Nigerians’ trust, stating that ongoing reforms will deliver lasting prosperity despite short-term hardships.

President Bola Tinubu spoke on Thursday through Senate President Godswill Akpabio at the inauguration of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement executives in Abuja. He said his administration remains committed to building a stronger nation and urged supporters to promote government policies at the grassroots level.

Tinubu acknowledged that reforms had demanded sacrifices from citizens but described them as necessary for sustainable economic growth. He added that nations attain greatness by confronting difficult challenges courageously and that patriotism remains essential.

The President commended High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, known as Tompolo, and the movement for initiating the mobilisation campaign. Kestin Pondi, speaking for the organisers, said the event marked the start of nationwide efforts to support Tinubu’s vision.
