Transport agency approves Tesla self-driving car tests

The Swedish Transport Agency has approved Tesla's application to test self-driving cars in Askersund municipality.

The agency has granted permission for three designated vehicles. The permit is valid until October 2.

Nerikes Allehanda previously reported that Tesla wants to conduct the tests in the area. The Transport Agency has now confirmed the approval.

The permit limits operations to the specified period and the designated vehicles.
