Travis Kelce sets Chiefs record for career touchdowns

Travis Kelce scored his 84th career touchdown, passing Priest Holmes for the most in Kansas City Chiefs franchise history. The milestone came on a 21-yard touchdown catch from Patrick Mahomes during Week 11 against the Denver Broncos. Kelce achieved the tie in Week 8 versus the Washington Commanders.

Travis Kelce added another achievement to his impressive career by breaking the Kansas City Chiefs' record for most touchdowns scored. The 36-year-old tight end, who has spent his entire 13-year NFL career with the Chiefs, reached 84 career touchdowns with a go-ahead 21-yard reception from Patrick Mahomes in their Week 11 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Kelce had tied Priest Holmes' previous mark of 83 in Week 8 against the Washington Commanders, catching a 10-yard pass from Mahomes. That score marked Kelce's 100th career touchdown when including his 17 postseason touchdowns, though franchise records focus on regular-season stats.

In addition to his receiving touchdowns, Kelce's total includes two rushing scores and one fumble recovery for a touchdown. He already held Chiefs records for receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns.

The Chiefs' all-time list for touchdowns scored now stands with Kelce at the top, followed by Holmes, Tony Gonzalez, Tyreek Hill, and Jamaal Charles. Holmes' accomplishment is notable as he played only 65 games with Kansas City after starting with the Baltimore Ravens, with his career shortened by a spine, neck, and head injury.

Kelce's consistency shines through his career: he has recorded at least three touchdown receptions in every NFL season except his rookie year and tallied 33 touchdowns from 2018 to 2020, during his age-31 to 33 seasons. He ranks in the top dozen all-time for receptions across all positions and third among tight ends, behind Tony Gonzalez and Jason Witten.
