The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) has issued an invitation for a closed bid exercise to sell old IT accessories, printers, and scanners located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The reference number for the bid is REF. PRO3 2 – 3 – 7 32- PMU/2 5 – 4 – 1. Items are sold "as is, where is" without any warranties.
Bid information and documents will be available from October 29, 2025, to November 18, 2025, during UN working hours: Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Physical inspections can be arranged through the Inventory Control Unit at 0115-443115, extension 33115. Inspections are scheduled for October 29 and 31, and November 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, and 17, between 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM.
Interested bidders can collect the bid document from the Procurement Unit in Room NG.4S.03 on the 4th floor of the Secretariat Building (Niger) in the ECA compound, Addis Ababa, during the specified hours. A deposit of Birr 200 is required in UNECA account number 1000090977858 to obtain the document.
Bidders must submit a 10% bid bond of the total bid amount in the form of a CPO. The 10% bond will not be refunded to the awarded bidder who fails to collect the award. Submission based on another bid is strictly prohibited. UNECA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals if it serves the organization's interest. Bid submissions close on November 18, 2025, at 4:00 PM, with opening on November 20 at 10:00 AM.
