Valle del Cauca governor launches Valle Vende, first virtual shopping center

The Valle del Cauca Governor's Office launched “Valle Vende”, the department's first virtual shopping center, to boost 1,000 entrepreneurs and enhance the digital presence of small and medium enterprises in national and international markets. Governor Dilian Francisca Toro unveiled the platform at the Retail del Futuro 2026 event organized by Fenalco.

The platform starts with 300 enrolled entrepreneurs and has opened registrations via its web portal. Participants can create their own virtual stores, showcase products, and expand their commercial reach beyond national borders.

Governor Dilian Francisca Toro emphasized the Valle del Cauca's dynamism in e-commerce. Through the E-commerce Hub, 4,000 small and medium enterprises have been trained, including 2,700 owned by women and 560 by young people, strengthening the business fabric and promoting economic inclusion.

Business leaders and sector experts attended the event. Cristina Tafur praised the value of free training and support provided. Michel Edery stressed that entrepreneurship is key to regional economic growth, while Jaime Alberto Cabal commended the departmental government's strategy to aid entrepreneurs facing future commerce challenges.
