In the group stage of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, which runs from February 14 to 22 and features 16 teams competing for a $1,250,000 prize pool including $225,000 for first place, Team Vitality faced The MongolZ. The map veto saw The MongolZ remove Anubis, Vitality remove Ancient, The MongolZ pick Mirage, Vitality pick Dust2, Vitality remove Inferno, and The MongolZ remove Overpass, leaving Nuke as the decider.
On Mirage, the first half was closely contested. After switching sides, Vitality built a four-round streak on the T side, but The MongolZ responded with seven straight rounds to win 13-11.
