Designer Willy Chavarria and adidas Originals have revealed their SS26 collaboration, the “Love Prevails” collection, centered on the iconic Superstar shoe. The line blends utilitarian streetwear with romantic embroidery and drops on April 18. It pays tribute to community resilience amid challenges.

The collection features a range of “W Chavarria Fine Athletic Fashions,” including baggy bombers, crewnecks, cargo jackets, and pinstripe tracksuits. These pieces incorporate roomy cargo pockets and Chavarria’s signature rose embroidery, drawing from workwear and sports team aesthetics while adding graphic elements. The apparel balances stark industrial designs with floral motifs, as shown in the campaign styled by Chavarria himself, which contrasts climbing roses against concrete structures. The highlight is the grayscale Superstar sneakers, priced at $160 USD. They include embossed shell-toes with the rose design and Chavarria’s calligraphic word mark, plus subtle branding on the tongue and side. Available in two colorways, the shoes emphasize simplicity to let the custom details stand out. “Love Prevails” reflects Chavarria’s socially conscious approach, honoring endurance in tough times through its mix of utility and romance.
