YHWH Nailgun shares music video for Magazine album

The New York experimental rock band YHWH Nailgun has released a music video to accompany its new 11-minute album Magazine. The 10-track project marks the group's first release on the 4AD label.

Directed by Lane Stewart, the nocturnal video follows several mysterious figures through an industrial landscape. It includes scenes of dancers in abandoned houses, a person in a white ski mask chased by a drone, and a group of cows.

Stewart described the production in a press statement. “We made this almost entirely in the heat of the night, in the place I’m from, the wider stretch of country my family comes out of and the ground I was born into,” he said.

The band first performed Magazine live during an 11-minute set at last month’s C2C Festival NYC. A headlining North American tour is scheduled to begin in September, with support from Nuda, @, Keiyaa, and Morgan Garrett.
