On December 22, 2024, Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal launched a €5.1 million project funded by the European Union, aimed at enhancing peace, stability, and resilience across the state. The event featured a visit from the EU Ambassador, underscoring international support for the region's security challenges.

In a related development, Governor Lawal inspected the Dansadau Primary Healthcare Centre in Maru Local Government Area, ordering its total renovation, expansion, and equipping to improve healthcare access.

He also traveled 108 kilometers to Dansadau town to inspect the ongoing construction of the Gusau-Dansadau road and awarded a contract for the Dansadau-Nasarawa road project, signaling commitment to infrastructure improvement.

Additionally, the governor approved ₦5 billion for the reconstruction of the Zurmi School of Nursing in Zurmi Local Government Area, addressing educational and health training needs.
