A fire broke out in two coaches of the Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express train near Yelamanchili in Andhra Pradesh early on December 29, 2025, killing one person. The deceased was identified as Chandrsekhar Sundaram. Emergency services responded quickly, detaching the damaged coaches and allowing the train to proceed.
