Since a new beauty law took effect in 2021, the Health and Social Care Inspectorate, Ivo, has received several complaints about a woman performing illegal beauty treatments in her home. One affected woman described the procedure as a catastrophe in a letter to the authority. Despite dozens of tips in recent years, the authorities have not taken action to stop the activity.
