Delhi Police have arrested a 29-year-old cab driver for abducting an 11-year-old girl from Mehrauli, raping and murdering her, and dumping her body. The arrest happened within hours of the crime being reported.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked the Delhi Police to respond to bail pleas filed by two men accused of operating the Rajasthan module of the banned outfit Indian Mujahideen. The accused have been in custody for 12 years.

The syndicate is linked to 176 complaints involving around Rs 180 crore in losses.
