The Devil Wears Prada 2, reuniting Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs, Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton and Stanley Tucci as Nigel Kipling, is forecast to open with $70 million to $75 million on May 1. It marks the first chick flick to launch the summer box office. Meryl Streep recently shared how she doubled her salary for the 2006 original.
Netflix has started production on City Hunter 2, the sequel to its successful 2024 live-action adaptation of the iconic Japanese manga. Ryohei Suzuki reprises his role as protagonist Ryo Saeba, alongside Misato Morita as Kaori Makimura and Fumino Kimura as Saeko Nogami. The film is slated for a global premiere in 2027.
