A 60-year-old man suffered head and left arm injuries after a bear attack while hunting in Fujioka, Gunma Prefecture, on Saturday morning. He was unconscious during transport to the hospital. Local police said the man, a member of a local hunting association, was with five companions on the first day of the deer and wild boar hunting season.
