Netflix has ordered a historical drama series titled Alexander, centered on Alexander the Great and his tutor Aristotle, from Jacob Tierney, creator of Heated Rivalry. Tierney will write, direct, and executive produce the adaptation of Annabel Lyon's award-winning 2010 novel The Golden Mean. Executive producers include Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan of Aggregate Films.
Heated Rivalry's Season 1 concluded with its six-episode run on December 26, 2025, following the recent renewal for Season 2 by Crave and HBO Max. The Canadian hockey drama, centered on the secret romance between rivals Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), premiered November 28 and became Crave's biggest original.
