Bergslagen's flea market spread across northern Örebro County is record large this year. Around 250 different flea markets are open this weekend which is the third after Midsummer.
In the municipality of Rivera, Huila, the final of the Municipal Spelling Contest took place, an initiative by the newspaper LA NACIÓN supported by the local mayor's office. Nine students from primary, basic, and secondary categories were awarded three-month virtual English courses, fostering reading, writing, and proper language use.

Presidents of communal action boards in Gigante gathered at Hotel La Esmeralda to mark Communal Action Day. Organized by the city hall, the event featured activities promoting integration and direct dialogue with municipal authorities. Christmas hampers and gifts for children from the communities were distributed.
