Nottingham developer submits plans for £4m padel venue

Plans for a £4m purpose-built padel centre called Swing have been unveiled in Nottingham, featuring 11 courts and additional wellness and social facilities. The project, submitted by ALB Group, aims to create the UK's largest such venue if approved. Construction could start immediately, with an opening targeted within seven months.
Nottingham's independent breweries are uniting for the second Castle Beer Fest at Nottingham Castle on April 24 and 25, 2026. Nottingham-based developer ALB Group has revealed new images of a proposed £4m padel and leisure development on Electric Avenue. The project, branded Swing, will feature a purpose-built padel centre alongside workspace, wellness facilities, and food and drink areas. It aims to create over 40 jobs and sits next to the developer's Riverleen House residential project.
