Justin Rose secured a dominant seven-shot win at the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open, finishing at a record 23-under par at Torrey Pines. The 45-year-old Englishman became the oldest winner at the venue and the first to lead wire-to-wire since 1955. Rose earned $1.728 million from the $9.6 million purse for his 13th PGA Tour title.
The PGA Tour announced that Sentry Insurance will become the new title sponsor of its long-running event at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego. The tournament will be renamed The Sentry starting next season. It moves from its previous home in Hawaii after the event there was canceled.
