Steam has rejected the upcoming Japanese horror visual novel This Game Is Not Real from its platform. Developer Viv announced the change after the game failed to meet Valve's distribution criteria. The title had accumulated 24,000 wishlists since its store page launched in August 2025.

Strange Scaffold has revealed a new vehicular action visual novel titled Truck–kun Is Supporting Me From Another World?! The game parodies isekai tropes where protagonists get transported to fantasy worlds by trucks. It is set for release later this year on PC via Steam, with Xbox Series X and S versions added post-announcement.
