AHL raises more than $7 million for charities in 2025-26

The American Hockey League and its 32 member clubs raised over $7 million for charitable causes during the 2025-26 season. Funds supported local hospitals, food banks, and national organizations across North America. Teams also contributed through community visits and donations of tickets and supplies.

The American Hockey League announced that the total exceeded $7 million in donations to various groups. Recipients included the American Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, and Wounded Warrior Project, among many others.

AHL teams organized more than 1,200 visits by players and coaches to schools and hospitals. They also arranged over 2,400 mascot appearances and donated more than 140,000 game tickets to charitable organizations.

In addition to cash contributions, clubs collected food, winter clothing, holiday gifts, and hockey equipment through community drives. The league has operated since 1936 and serves as the primary development system for the National Hockey League.
