It was Isak's first game since December 20, when he broke his shinbone and injured his ankle against Tottenham in the Premier League. PSG dominated with 18-3 shots and had two penalties waved off after VAR reviews. Liverpool's goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardasjvili made two key saves in the first half.
The loss leaves Liverpool in a tough position for the return leg at Anfield next week. British Sky Sports rated Isak 6/10 for his brief appearance.
