Amy Grant announces new album for May release

Amy Grant is set to release her new album 'The Me That Remains' on May 8, 2026, via Thirty Tigers. The project, produced by Mac McAnally, marks her first collection of all-original songs in 13 years. It explores themes of healing, connection, endurance, and grace through ten tracks.

Amy Grant's upcoming album 'The Me That Remains' will be available for pre-order now and is scheduled for release on May 8, 2026, through Thirty Tigers. Produced by ten-time CMA Award winner and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famer Mac McAnally, the album represents Grant's first set of all-original songs since 2013. It features ten tracks that reflect on her personal, spiritual, and creative life after more than 50 years in music.

Earlier this year, Grant released the single 'The 6th of January (Yasgur's Farm)', a piece inspired by the unity and idealism of the Woodstock era. On February 20, 2026, she shared the title track 'The Me That Remains', co-written with McAnally. This song addresses her recent health struggles, including open heart surgery and a bike accident that caused a traumatic brain injury. The accompanying video was filmed on her Tennessee farm.

The album's artwork, created by artist Wayne Brezinka, is a mixed-media collage incorporating personal items such as a treasured quilt, seashells from her collection, her childhood Bible, and an article about her grandfather. These elements symbolize themes of memory and reconstruction.

Grant commented on the album's introspective nature: “The older I get, the more aware I am that we all live long enough to see versions of ourselves pass away. Given time to process decades of a life – one that was both exciting and difficult – I’ve needed to remember and release the younger Amy Grant. There are fewer bells and whistles around this deeper work now, but life’s discoveries and mysteries are even more compelling to me. I’m thankful for each day and curious to find connection and purpose, and how the Love that made us all will emerge and express itself in and through me today.”

To celebrate the release, Grant will perform at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on May 8, 2026. Tickets go on sale February 27, 2026. The tracklist includes:
- The 6th of January (Yasgur’s Farm)
- How Do We Get There From Here (feat. Ruby Amanfu)
- Please Don’t Make Me Beg
- The Saint
- Beautiful Lone Companion
- The Me That Remains
- ‘Til We Get It Right
- (Nothing Like A) Sunny Day
- Friend Like You (with Vince Gill)
- The Other Side Of Goodbye (with Sarah Cannon & Corrina Gill)

This release aligns with Grant's 2026 US tour dates, which include stops in North Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee.
