The eight-episode series is based on Japanese writer Hideo Okuda's 2014 novel 'Naomi and Kanako' and follows two friends, Eun-su (played by Jeon So-nee) and Hui-su (Lee You-mi), as they make a fateful decision to escape desperate circumstances.
Upon learning that Hui-su is trapped in an abusive marriage, Eun-su suggests they kill Jin-pyo (Jang Seung-jo), Hui-su's menacing husband. The series builds tension around this plot.
Two other Korean series also entered the top 10: the romantic drama 'Dynamite Kiss' at No. 3 and the competition show 'Physical: Asia' at No. 8. This achievement highlights the growing global appeal of Korean content.
