Awash Bank announced its results for the 2025/26 fiscal year in Addis Ababa. Total assets reached 622 billion Birr. Paid-up capital stood at 38.5 billion Birr.
The bank reported total revenue of 85.37 billion Birr. Foreign currency holdings reached 2.65 billion US dollars. It opened 25 new branches during the year.
The bank submitted a request to the National Bank of Ethiopia to expand into neighboring countries. A response is expected within days.
