FC Bayern Munich has won the 2026 DFB-Pokal. In the final, the champions defeated defending titleholders VfB Stuttgart 3:0.
Harry Kane scored all three goals for the Munich side. In the 55th minute he headed in after a cross from Michael Olise. In the 80th minute he made it 2:0 with his right foot. In the second minute of stoppage time he converted a penalty to seal the win.
The match at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium was tight at first. VfB Stuttgart held their own with plenty of running. After the break Bayern took control. In front of 74,036 spectators Bayern celebrated their 21st cup title and the double.
Fans from both sides protested against the DFB. They set off pyrotechnics and displayed banners. The game was briefly halted. VfB striker Deniz Undav said: “We played an outstanding season.”
