Bob Odenkirk reprises Saul Goodman in surprise video

Bob Odenkirk returned as Saul Goodman in a mock advertisement released this week to mark America's 250th birthday. The video appeared on YouTube and features the character promoting constitutional rights.

The clip shows Odenkirk in the familiar Albuquerque office setting from the series, surrounded by wallpaper printed with the Constitution. He tells viewers they have rights that remain relevant despite their age and lists freedoms such as speech and the press.

Jonathan Banks also appears briefly as Mike Ehrmantraut to endorse the message. The video marks the first time Odenkirk has played the role since Better Call Saul concluded in 2022.

Better Call Saul co-creator Peter Gould shared the video on Bluesky and confirmed it was not created with artificial intelligence. Its origin remains unknown and it is not tied to any official project.

Saul Goodman first appeared in season two of Breaking Bad and later starred in the six-season prequel series that ended four years ago.
