The Canadian Open withdrawal list continues to grow ahead of the August 2 start. Carlos Alcaraz will not compete after sustaining a wrist injury in April at the Barcelona Open. His team confirmed that recovery requires additional time.
Emma Raducanu has also withdrawn while recovering from a stress fracture in her lower right leg, an injury she suffered before Wimbledon. Defending champion Victoria Mboko will miss the event due to a knee injury sustained at the HSBC Championships.
Karolina Muchova is the latest player to opt out. She underwent minor surgery following her Wimbledon final appearance. Multiple withdrawals this season have been linked to injuries amid a demanding tour schedule.
