Carolina Ferraz leaves Record after nearly six years on Domingo Espetacular

Presenter Carolina Ferraz is no longer part of Record's team, the broadcaster confirmed on Wednesday, April 8. After nearly six years hosting Domingo Espetacular, she is replaced by Camila Busnello, who will share the show with Roberto Cabrini. Record praised the professional and said doors remain open for future projects.

Record announced on the evening of Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the departure of 58-year-old presenter and actress Carolina Ferraz from hosting Domingo Espetacular. She had been at the helm of the Sunday program since July 2020, nearly six years.

In its official statement, the broadcaster noted: “Carolina is an extremely competent, talented, dedicated professional and genuinely liked by everyone at the station. Her time on the program was marked by memorable interviews and impactful special reports. We end this cycle with gratitude and admiration, and we keep the doors open for new projects together soon.”

Camila Busnello takes Ferraz's place starting with the next edition of Domingo Espetacular. The journalist previously served as New York correspondent, special reporter, and substitute host on the show, and recently led afternoon editions of Jornal da Record. She will co-host with Roberto Cabrini.

Ferraz's exit stems from a lack of a new project, leading to the end of her contract with the station, according to Record's announcement as reported by Folha de S.Paulo. She will not have the chance to bid farewell to the audience.
