Delhi government to organise three-day welfare camps for citizen grievances

The Delhi government will set up three-day public welfare camps at 42 locations starting Thursday to resolve grievances and deliver services on the spot. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the initiative prioritises timely and transparent delivery of benefits to eligible citizens.

The camps will run daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., mostly on school premises. They will bring together services from the Central and Delhi governments on one platform.

Departments including Irrigation and Flood Control, Delhi Jal Board, Power, Transport, Urban Development, Health and Family Welfare, Education, Women and Child Development, and Revenue will participate. Officials aim to resolve cases immediately.

Services on offer include Pink Saheli cards, registration and loans under the Pradhan Mantri SVANidhi Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, ration cards, Aadhaar registration, e-Shram cards, Jan Dhan accounts, and loans for Start-up India and MSMEs.
