Ecovacs introduces affordable robot vacuum with premium features

Ecovacs has launched the Deebot T90 Pro Omni, a midrange robot vacuum that incorporates advanced capabilities from its flagship models at a lower price point. Priced at $900, it features fast-charging technology and a large self-washing mop roller. The company also unveiled new window-cleaning robots to complement its floor-cleaning lineup.

Ecovacs, recognized for producing top-performing robot vacuums, has released the Deebot T90 Pro Omni as the successor to the T80 Omni. This new model brings features like fast-charging and four-wheel-drive from the flagship X12 and X11 Omnicyclone series into a more accessible price range of $900 at launch, down from the T80 Omni's original $1,000 in 2025. The T80 Omni is currently available for $500 on sale, offering a budget alternative, while the upcoming X12 Omnicyclone is expected to cost around $1,500, similar to the X11.

The T90 Pro Omni includes PowerBoost Charging, described by Ecovacs as an industry first. This technology enables quicker battery top-ups, allowing the vacuum to finish cleaning sessions in one go by dynamically managing power during mop-washing. It also incorporates the Ozmo Roller 3.0, a 27-centimeter microfiber mop roller touted as the largest in its class. The roller applies continuous pressure to floors, reducing the chance of spreading dirt compared to spinning or vibrating systems, and effectively captures dust and grime.

Additional features include self-washing of the mop with clean water during operation, followed by self-cleaning, washing, and drying at the base station. TruEdge technology allows the mop roller and brushes to extend for better edge and corner cleaning.

Complementing the floor cleaner, Ecovacs introduced the Winbot W3 Omni, successor to the W2, priced at $700. It features a Vortex Wash system in its base station for automated pad rinsing and recharging, along with TruEdge for precise cleaning around window frames. Suitable for various glass surfaces like tall windows and mirrors, it eliminates manual rinsing.

Ecovacs also launched the Winbot Mini 2 at $240, claimed to be the industry's slimmest window-cleaning robot. Its compact design aids in reaching narrow spaces, complex frames, and hard-to-access windows, making it suitable for apartments and modern homes, including double-hung types.
