A 20-year-old Florida man faces charges of domestic battery by strangulation and domestic violence battery following allegations of multiple assaults on his ex-girlfriend.
Daniel Niemiec was arrested in Coral Springs after police investigated reports of abuse. The incidents allegedly occurred between early June and July 1.
According to a probable cause affidavit, the victim described being slapped during a consensual encounter and choked on separate occasions. She also reported that Niemiec emptied a backpack containing urine, feces, hot sauce and other fluids onto her.
Niemiec told officers he has anger issues and admitted to some of the actions, though he claimed he did not hear her say stop during one incident. He posted a $4,000 bond at the Broward County Jail.
