HGTV unveils renewals and new series for 2025-2026

HGTV has announced a major programming expansion, including nearly 400 episodes of House Hunters and its international spinoff through 2026, alongside 50 episodes of new series like Botched Homes and Property Brothers: Under Pressure. The lineup also features premiere dates for returning favorites and fresh shows this fall. This order aims to maintain the network's strong ratings with familiar formats and innovative concepts.

HGTV's latest announcement highlights its commitment to home renovation and real estate content, as detailed in a recent press release. The network ordered 50 episodes across four freshman series set for 2026: Botched Homes, Neighborhood Watch (working title), World’s Bargain Dream Homes (working title), and Property Brothers: Under Pressure (working title). Additionally, fan favorites House Hunters and House Hunters International will deliver nearly 400 half-hour episodes through 2026, continuing their interactive format that draws over 13 million primetime viewers monthly.

New Series Highlights

Botched Homes follows New York City contractor Charlie Kawas and his team as they fix failed renovations in eight one-hour episodes, addressing issues like unsafe structures and poor design. Neighborhood Watch (working title) offers 16 half-hour episodes of unfiltered home surveillance footage capturing hilarious and bizarre moments. World’s Bargain Dream Homes (working title) tracks 12 episodes of buyers snapping up affordable, stunning properties worldwide. Property Brothers: Under Pressure (working title), starring twins Drew and Jonathan Scott, spans 14 episodes helping indecisive buyers navigate competitive markets and renovations.

Howard Lee, Chief Creative Officer at Warner Bros. Discovery's US Networks, stated, “With this programming order, HGTV is delivering more of our tried-and-true formats that drive consistent ratings for the network, while also featuring new talent and concepts to engage our devoted fans and attract different audiences.”

Fall 2025 Premieres

For the rest of 2025, HGTV schedules include My Lottery Dream Home returning November 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Hoarding for the Holidays debuting November 11, Fixer to Fabulous on December 2, Cheap A$$ Beach Houses on December 3, White House Christmas 2025 special on December 14, and My Lottery Dream Home: David’s Happy Ending on December 19. New episodes of 100 Day Dream Home, Help! I Wrecked My House, and Sin City Rehab air in November.

This slate positions HGTV as a top cable network, blending established hits with novel ideas in the lifestyle genre.
