Marchand, who joins Panthers forward Sam Reinhart (named to the preliminary roster in June 2025), previously won gold at the 2007 and 2008 World Juniors (six goals, two assists in 13 games), 2016 IIHF World Championship (named top-three player with four goals, three assists in 10 games), and 2017 World Cup of Hockey.
