IFL Watches has released a new limited-edition version of the Citizen Tsuyosa Shore featuring a hand-painted dial with sharks. The 200-piece series uses a new enameling technique and draws from a fan poll idea.
The IFL Watches Citizen Tsuyosa Shore Mako replaces the brand's earlier koi fish design with an underwater scene of sharks circling a school of fish. Artists applied the artwork to the marine-blue dial using a new enamel-paint method that creates polished and matte textures for added depth.
The 40-millimeter case includes a 100-meter water-resistant rating and a matching blue aluminum bezel. It houses Citizen's automatic 8210 caliber movement with a 40-hour power reserve.
The watches were scheduled for sale on July 6 at 4:00 PM CEST through the IFL Watches website at a price of €890, US$890 or £790. The edition was developed after collectors voted for the shark concept in a poll.
