Iron Coffee Cafe to open in Norcross with community focus

A new cafe called Iron Coffee Cafe is set to replace the former MET BrewMasters Coffee in Norcross, Georgia, emphasizing community involvement through music and arts events. Owner Malvina McNeill, a veteran in the coffee industry, plans to open as early as mid-March or by April 1. The venue will offer specialty drinks and spaces for gatherings.

In Norcross, Georgia, the space at 5380 Peachtree Industrial Blvd Unit 100, previously occupied by the Beatles-themed MET BrewMasters Coffee, will soon host Iron Coffee Cafe. Owner Malvina McNeill announced the opening could occur as early as mid-March or as late as April 1.

McNeill, who has 13 years of experience in the coffee sector, including her first job at Cafe Grumpy in Grand Central Station, is launching her first owned shop. Unlike its predecessor, Iron Coffee Cafe will broaden its theme to encompass all music and performance arts. Events planned include poetry slams, open mic nights, karaoke, and local music performances on a dedicated stage.

"I am going to get the community involved 100 percent," McNeill stated.

The 2,134-square-foot venue will serve specialty coffees, pour-overs, espresso, cold brew, and pastries. It features ample space for studying, events, and socializing, including a private room for focused work.

Initially, the cafe will operate Monday through Saturday, fostering connections among locals through its community-driven approach.
