The American Hockey League has selected Syracuse Crunch forward Jakob Pelletier as the Fortune Tires “Expect More” AHL Player of the Year for his standout performance in the 2025-26 season.
Pelletier earned the honor after leading the league in scoring with 77 points, including 28 goals and 49 assists, in 63 games. He posted a plus-25 rating and recorded a 20-game scoring streak, the longest by any AHL skater in more than 17 years. He also tied for the league lead with five shorthanded goals and led all forwards with 31 power-play points.
