Jodie Sweetin opened up about her high school years on the Inside of You podcast. She described taking drugs and behaving worse than peers to counter assumptions she was stuck up after Full House ended.
The 44-year-old actress joined Full House at age five and left the show in 1995. She told host Michael Rosenbaum she worried classmates would label her "a stuck-up b*" so she tried to prove them wrong by getting "more f** up" and doing "more drugs."
Sweetin said the pattern continued for years as she questioned her identity and sought approval. She admitted making a mess of relationships and getting involved with toxic people before getting sober in her mid-30s.
After entering therapy the actress realized she had let others make choices for her. She is now married to Mescal Wasilewski and has two children from previous marriages.
