El Nasr Clothing and Textiles Company (Kabo) announced a comprehensive development and expansion plan for its factories in Amreya and Hadra, raising total production capacity to more than 85,000 pieces per day once upgrades are completed. The plan increases production lines from 41 to 78, enhancing operational efficiency to support contract manufacturing and export growth.
El Nasr Clothing and Textiles Company (Kabo) has rolled out a comprehensive development plan for its factories in Amreya and Hadra, aimed at boosting production capabilities and expanding into regional and international markets. The initiative includes the installation of an advanced automatic cutting machine at the Amreya factory, increasing daily cutting productivity to around 30,000 pieces as part of a broader overhaul of cutting-room operations to improve efficiency.
At the Amreya factory, production lines have grown from 4 to 12, lifting daily capacity to up to 10,000 pieces to meet rising contract manufacturing demands. The Hadra factory saw lines increase from 37 to 66, raising output from 40,000 pieces to approximately 75,000 pieces daily, depending on product type and line setup, thereby strengthening export market presence.
These upgrades stem from cooperation agreements with leading global garment technology firms, including Italy's FK Group, represented by Managing Director Sergio Gori; Turkey's OZER Machine, represented by General Manager Ahmet Özer; and China's Supreme Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., represented by Regional Director Felix. The agreements were signed during Kabo's participation in Egypt Stitch & Tex, a major regional exhibition for textiles and ready-made garments. Sherif Moussa, Chairman of MIT—the exclusive agent for these brands in Egypt—attended the signing ceremony.
This expansion aligns with Kabo's strategy to scale contract manufacturing and boost exports, enhancing the competitiveness of Egypt's textile industry on the global stage.
