Kacey Musgraves has canceled three dates on her upcoming Middle of Nowhere Tour without providing an explanation. The affected shows include the originally planned opening night in Chicago as well as dates in Boston and Brooklyn.
The canceled performances are the August 20 show at United Center in Chicago, the August 29 concert at TD Garden in Boston and the September 2 gig at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Ticket holders received emails from Ticketmaster confirming the cancellations and automatic refunds.
These dates were added later due to demand. The original shows in those cities remain scheduled, with the tour now set to open August 21 in Chicago, followed by August 28 in Boston and two nights at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Musgraves has not commented on the changes and is currently on vacation in Greece. The tour supports her album Middle of Nowhere, released in May, and continues through October in Seattle.
