Jalen Brunson scored 36 points and added seven assists for the Knicks. OG Anunoby delivered the game-winning tip-in with 1.2 seconds left after blocking a De'Aaron Fox layup attempt.
Karl-Anthony Towns tipped an inbounds pass on the final possession to prevent a potential Spurs game-winning dunk. Anunoby also hit seven of nine three-pointers in the second half.
The Spurs built a 76-49 halftime lead behind 14 three-pointers but scored only 30 points after intermission. Victor Wembanyama committed a flagrant foul and missed two late free throws.
Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday at 8:30 p.m. ET at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, where the Spurs are listed as 5.5-point favorites.
