L.A.B. Golf launches DF3i putter for firmer feel

L.A.B. Golf has introduced the DF3i putter, building on its Lie Angle Balance technology with a firmer feel and faster ball speeds. The new model features a milled 6061 aircraft aluminum body bonded to a stainless-steel insert, appealing to players who prefer responsive feedback. This launch follows J.J. Spaun's 2025 U.S. Open victory using the original DF3.

CRESWELL, OR – On January 23, 2026, L.A.B. Golf announced the DF3i, the latest addition to its lineup of Lie Angle Balance putters. The DF3i maintains the stability and face control that define the brand while offering a performance-driven profile for golfers seeking a firmer feel at impact.

Milled from 6061 aircraft aluminum and featuring a fly-milled stainless-steel insert, the DF3i delivers faster ball speeds without compromising the consistency of Lie Angle Balance technology. It builds on the success of the original Directed Force and best-selling DF3 models.

The putter gained prominence when J.J. Spaun won the 2025 U.S. Open, sinking a 64-foot putt with his DF3. This victory introduced L.A.B. Golf to a wider audience, highlighting its benefits for players at all levels and driving demand for refined options like the DF3i.

Customization is a key feature, with options for lie angle, length, putting style, head weight, color, alignment markings, shaft, and grip. Each DF3i undergoes hand-balancing and assembly through up to 10 craftsmanship stages.

The stock model is priced at $499 and available now at www.labgolf.com. Custom versions start at $599 and will be available at authorized retailers worldwide from February 27, 2026.
