Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World has quietly altered its early entry program by excluding Mickey’s PhilharMagic, a fan-favorite 4D show, from the 30-minute pre-opening window available to eligible guests. Disney World confirmed the change, which took effect without a major announcement, prompting discussions among visitors who plan their mornings around crowd management and attraction access. The show remains open during regular park hours and is included in Extended Evening Hours for qualifying guests, but its absence from early entry shifts the morning flow toward ride-based options. Eligible guests, including those at Disney Resort hotels such as Value, Moderate, and Deluxe properties, as well as select partners like the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, Four Seasons Resort Orlando, and certain Disney Springs-area hotels, can still enter 30 minutes early. This perk applies to all four Walt Disney World parks, including check-in and check-out days through 2026, and requires valid park admission along with a MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World Card. During early entry, visitors continue to access headliners like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Space Mountain, plus classics such as Peter Pan’s Flight, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, “it’s a small world,” Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress. The adjustment may concentrate crowds on these rides, reducing options for a more relaxed start, particularly for families. Disney notes that the early entry lineup is subject to change without notice, reflecting ongoing efforts to manage guest movement in the park.
