A man in his 20s was shot dead in Kvarngärdet, Uppsala, on Sunday evening. Police do not rule out a link to gang crime.
The shooting took place on Sunday evening, 5 July 2026. A witness named Osam heard two shots and ran into the street where he found the body lying in front of his car.
Police are working proactively in the criminal network environment to prevent new crime, according to Jens L’Estrade.
