Man in his 30s sentenced for serious drug offenses

A man in his 30s from Borlänge has been sentenced by Falu District Court to five years and six months in prison for two serious drug offenses.

The sentence follows the discovery by a police patrol in mid-October last year of a bag containing nearly 100 grams of cocaine and 500 tramadol tablets on a street in one of Borlänge's districts.

The man was convicted on two counts of serious drug offenses. The first offense came to light when officers found the substances during a patrol.

Falu District Court handed down the prison term of five years and six months.
