Max and Gogreen have initiated a recall of their vegetarian "crispy green nuggets". The reason is a risk of small plastic pieces in a production batch, according to Lantmännen.
"The recall is taking place as a precautionary measure after it was noticed in our quality work that there is a risk of small plastic pieces in a production batch of the product," Lantmännen writes in a press release.
The recall covers only 360-gram packages with a best-before date of July 31, 2027. Nuggets purchased directly at Max restaurants are not affected.
"Sales of the affected batch have been stopped at all retailers," Lantmännen states.
