Mexico presents official artisanal collection for 2026 World Cup

The Ministry of Culture unveiled the Fonart/Copa Mundial FIFA 2026 collection featuring three thousand pieces made by artisans from multiple states.

The presentation took place at the Complejo Cultural Los Pinos. Deputy Minister Marina Núñez Bespalova noted that the pieces are unique and blend traditional techniques with football elements. It is the first time FIFA has collaborated directly with artisans. The three thousand pieces carry an official badge authorized by the governing body and are numbered as a limited edition. The pieces are on sale from June 5 to July 31 2026 at Fonart stores. Artisans from Chiapas, Chihuahua, Durango, Estado de México, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán and Oaxaca took part in the project.
